As President and CEO of EADS Secure Networks North America, Sunny Taylor is responsible for leveraging the extensive capabilities of EADS in support of public safety, homeland security and first responder communications requirements. Ms. Taylor brings a full range of communications experiences and management capabilities to her executive role, including business development, sales & marketing, operations and government relations.

Ms. Taylor formerly served as CEO and President of fSONA Systems Corporation, a manufacturer of optical wireless communication systems. Prior to that position, Ms. Taylor served as fSONA’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing for North America, where she was responsible for all sales, including government and commercial accounts. Prior to joining fSONA in October 2001, Ms. Taylor was Vice President of Sales, U.S. & Canada for P-Com, Inc., a manufacturer and integrator of broadband wireless equipment headquartered outside of San Jose, CA. She has held several other senior management roles, including the positions of Director of Business Development for Columbia Spectrum Management, Director of Marketing for FirstPAGE USA , and Vice President of Government Affairs for Collins & Associates.

Ms. Taylor served on the legislative staff of The Honorable Daniel A. Mica, U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, DC from 1982 to 1988. She is a graduate of Simon Fraser University and The University of Texas at Austin.

Rick Lewis

Director of Operations, EADS Secure Networks

Rick Lewis is responsible for EADS Secure Networks North America operations management, including program management and all associated functions in the U.S. and Canada. Mr. Lewis joined EADS in 2001 with more than 20 years of experience in wireless and wireline telecommunications, including customer account management and sales, manufacturing and operations, project and program management, strategic alliance development, and business development. He previously held positions at Nortel Networks with management of technology alliance, program and project management of wireless products, account management, and service product marketing. Mr. Lewis holds a Bachelor of Science in business and an MBA from Campbell University.

Steve Irlbeck

Regional Sales Director - Midwest EADS Secure Networks

Based in Minnesota, Steve Irlbeck is the Midwestern Regional Sales Director for EADS Secure Networks North America. Prior to joining EADS Secure Networks, Mr. Irlbeck was with Dataradio Corporation for more than seven years as Regional Account Executive calling on mission critical Public Safety users for City, County, and State Agencies, along with Transportation and Utilities markets. Mr. Irlbeck’s career in radio communications also includes more than 30 years with EFJohnson Company in various positions from Technical Supervisor to Senior District and Regional Account Manager working with direct and indirect channels of distribution calling on mission critical system end-users.

Ron Lyons

Regional Sales Director - West, EADS Secure Networks

Ron Lyons is the West Regional Sales Director for EADS Secure Networks North America. Based in San Diego, Mr. Lyons is a 20-year industry veteran who has held several key positions with responsibilities in technical sales, marketing, business development, channel distribution management, system design and planning, and project and program management. He has developed expertise across a multitude of technologies including various land mobile radio voice systems, mobile data systems and applications, Radio over IP, interoperability, dispatch systems, and other wireless internet and broadband systems. Mr. Lyons’ career includes working for technology and industry leaders such as Ericsson, Catalyst Communications, and other companies specializing in systems integration and mobile data systems. An alum of San Diego State University, his Bachelor of Arts degree studies in Astronomy were augmented by minors in Mathematics and Aerospace Studies.

Keith Chafin

Regional Sales Director - Eastern Region, EADS Secure Networks

Keith Chafin is the Northeast Regional Sales Director for EADS Secure Networks North America. Mr. Chafin brings more than fifteen years of wireless communications experience to EADS, specializing in mission critical network applications. Prior to joining EADS, Mr. Chafin was the Northeast Account Executive for Dataradio managing all direct and indirect regional sales activities for the company’s mobile data network solutions. Mr Chafin’s career includes extensive sales and program management experience for mission critical networks, having worked for two regional systems integrators, selling and implementing public safety communications systems. Mr. Chafin also served 12 years as a member of the US Coast Guard Reserve, where he has gained invaluable understanding and knowledge of the communications requirements for public safety, first responders, and homeland security. Mr. Chafin is based in Nashville, Tennessee, and holds a Bachelor of Science in business management from Carson-Newman College.

Paul Martin

National Sales Director, Canada EADS Secure Networks

As the National Sales Director, Canada for EADS Secure Networks North America, Paul Martin leads the market development of comprehensive wide area technology solutions for the Canadian government and first responder public safety market. Based in Ottawa, Mr. Martin is a 23-year industry executive who has held key senior positions in sales, marketing, operations, and business transformation with significant experience servicing public sector clients. Prior to joining EADS Secure Networks, Mr. Martin worked for CGI as an executive consultant where he delivered Canadian public sector customers transformation methodologies for procurement, business process re-engineering and enterprise technology implementation. Mr. Martin’s career also includes key positions with Motorola, Fujitsu, International Data Corporation (IDC) and IT World Canada. Mr. Martin has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Queen’s University in Kingston Ontario and is a graduate from Cambrian College in Sudbury Ontario of Engineering and information technology sciences.

Alain Dubois

P25 R&D Test and Support Manager, EADS Secure Networks

Alain Dubois is the EADS Secure Networks North America P25 Research and Development Test Support Manager. Based in Frisco, TX, Alain is responsible for third party equipment integration, interoperability tests, customer project support, P25 training, P25 Demonstrations, and ongoing P25 software development. Prior to joining EADS Secure Networks North America, Mr. Dubois served on the global EADS Secure Networks team where he was the P25 software architect, managing the P25 software development team. Mr. Dubois has more than 12 years experience working at EADS, including 9 years of Tetrapol PMR software management, and three years working on P25 solutions. Mr. Dubois is a graduate of Ecole National des Telecommunications de Bretagne in Brest, France, where he earned an engineering degree in Telecommunication and Computer Science.

Sherman Banks

East Coast Technical Sales Engineering Support Manager, EADS Secure Networks

Sherman Banks is the east coast Technical Sales Engineering Support Manager for EADS Secure Networks North America. Mr. Banks brings more than 20 years of wireless communications experience to EADS. Prior to joining EADS, Mr. Banks was the Chief Engineer at Dataradio Corporation where he supervised a staff in the design, implementation and support of wide area mobile data networks for public safety and mission critical commercial applications. Mr. Banks' career includes the system design of land mobile communications networks, circuit design of wireless devices and television antenna design. Mr. Banks is based in Atlanta , Georgia and holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
