System Engineer

Job Description:
The System Engineer’s role is to develop system integration specifications and test plans for EADS and third party products, and support sales and marketing efforts through product demonstrations, bid response, and customer meetings and presentations.

Responsibilities include performing system integration testing and validation, developing customer acceptance and trial test plans, and performing customer acceptance launches.

Responsibilities include system level three maintenance during customer trials and for generally available products, as well as on call customer support and on-site support as needed during trial periods.

Responsibilities include providing training and technical support for the customer support department, and proactively investigating, evaluating and documenting product enhancement opportunities.

Required Skills and Experience:
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in similar field
• Minimum BSEE/CS required
• Minimum 3 years experience with RTP, SIP, Mobile IP for control and transport of voice & data, LDAP, HTML, XML for databases and web-based management, SNMP for supervision
• Demonstrated ability with software testing, networking technologies and integration testing
• Expertise in Unix and C languages
• Extensive hands-on experience and strong problem solving skills including experience responding to “hot” customer issues by determining root cause problems and providing solutions
• Strong verbal and written communications skills mandatory
• Exposure to digital VoIP LMR systems a plus
