System Architect

We are seeking to expand our system integration, test, and implementation support team in North America with a System Architect.

Job Description:
The System Architect’s role is to develop competitive technical solutions, including network and system engineering, for EADS customers. He/she provides support to the Sales & Marketing team, while working in conjunction with the CTO and product engineering teams.

Responsible to design, engineer, validate and deploy competitive mission critical network solutions. Responsible for supporting pre-sale activities, bid responses, customer solution deployments, and customer evolutions.

Responsible to support the development of EADS’ mission critical solutions including standards and regulations, R&D, and technical support.

Required Skills and Experience:
• Minimum 3-5 years architecture/engineering/system design experience dealing with similar technology
• Broad knowledge of Public Safety communication products, solutions, and systems, as well as Public Safety, military, and governmental customers
• Experience in mobile radio network design and engineering for LMR/PMR customers
• Experience using Planet EV or similar RF propagation software tools
• Excellent computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets and databases
• Demonstrated excellent verbal, writing, and presentation skills
• Technical and/or business degree(s)
• Experience in Tetrapol a plus
• French Language a Plus

Ideal candidate will have proven experience in P25 and TETRAPOL standards, as well as large system sales to local and federal government agencies.
